Dr. Lisa McKim specializes in specialty contact lens fittings and myopia management. She also enjoys providing general comprehensive eye care, and treating ocular diseases including dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Learn more about Dr. McKim below.
Dr. McKim has had a unique optometry career, having been an Air Force spouse for 23 years. She has had the opportunity to practice in many settings all around the country and in Europe. She and her husband were stationed at the Air Force Academy early in their military career and chose Colorado Springs as their post-military home. Dr. McKim enjoys providing comprehensive family eye care. She enjoys treating and managing ocular diseases including dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Her special area of interest is in specialty contact lens fitting and myopia management. She finds using the latest technology in contact lenses to help patients with challenging prescriptions and irregular corneal surface issues to be extremely rewarding. She is also passionate about helping kids halt progression of myopia using corneal refractive therapy, the MiSight program, and atropine therapy.
She and her husband have two children and enjoy traveling, hiking, and cheering on the Falcons and Switchbacks!
